The return of agricultural lands to economic exploitation and the restoration of economic life in the liberated territories are the main objectives of the plan for priority demining of agricultural lands.
Since the beginning of 2023, more than 200 thousand hectares of agricultural land specified for priority demining have been examined in Ukraine. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko, writes the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
“There are 200 thousand hectares of agricultural land that have been surveyed since the beginning of the year. It is especially important that more than 120 thousand hectares of surveyed and demined land are already being used by agricultural producers. It was reported that in the past week, pyrotechnicians examined about 4.5 thousand hectares of agricultural land, especially in the Kherson region – more than 3.7 thousand hectares, Nikolaev region – more than 430 hectares, Kharkov region – more than 280 hectares.
