The average cash dollar exchange rate in Ukraine fell to UAH 38.00, and the euro exchange rate fell to UAH 40.95.
The hryvnia continues to strengthen in the cash market at the beginning of the new working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, September 11.
So, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine fell by 5 kopecks – to 38.00 UAH, the euro exchange rate also decreased by 5 kopecks – to 40.95 UAH.
In exchange offices they buy a dollar for an average of 37.50 UAH, a euro for 40.25 UAH.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU since July of last year is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the euro today is slightly lower and is 39.1247 hryvnia per euro (-0.0220 hryvnia).
Let us remind you that the Ministry of Finance is concerned about the strong Hryvnia. They believe that currently there are no major reasons to strengthen the national currency.
It was also reported that last week the National Bank sold the lowest currency in three months.
