Russia could sell weapons to Iran that threaten Israel’s existence, David Barnea emphasized.
Iran intends to transfer short- and long-range missiles to Russia in addition to the kamikaze drones that Tehran sold to Moscow for the war in Ukraine. This was announced by the director of Israeli intelligence, Mossad David Barnea, reports The Times of Israel.
According to him, Iran’s previous attempts to transfer missiles to Russia in the middle of the war have been thwarted.
“I feel that more agreements are about to be disrupted. We fear that the Russians will give the Iranians, instead of what they lack, modern weapons, which will certainly threaten our peace and perhaps our existence here,” – said the head of the Mossad.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Federation has begun to produce its own version of Iranian kamikaze drones, which are used to attack Ukrainian cities. According to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Russia launched more than 1,900 suicide bombers across the territory of Ukraine during the full-scale invasion.
