Thanks to the favorable weather, the harvest of early grains exceeded not only last year, but also the record 2021.
At the end of August, harvesting of early crops was almost completed in Ukraine. 29 million tons of grain and 4 million tons of oilseeds were threshed. Thanks to favorable weather, the harvest of early grains exceeded not only last year, but also the record year 2021, according to the NBU Macroeconomic and Monetary Review.
But experts emphasize that the summer has affected the quality of the grain.
It was also reported that the vegetable growing situation is also better than the previous season: the production of borscht vegetables has increased; Watermelon cultivation continued, in particular, by increasing the area in the southern Ukrainian-controlled area, as well as in the western and central regions.
In animal husbandry, the indicators of pig and raw milk production decrease seasonally: the reduction in the supply of raw materials prevents the processing of milk and meat.
It was also reported that the production of flour increased seasonally, but its further increase was prevented by the lack of high-quality raw materials.
As a reminder, the new era of sugar production has begun.
