On Tuesday, September 5, the Ministry of Finance attracted more than UAH 6.4 billion in the state budget at the auction for the placement of domestic government bonds (OVGZ). This was reported by the press service of the department.
“Today, the Ministry of Finance has placed government bonds worth more than 6.4 billion hryvnias,” the report said.
It was noted that the Ministry of Finance offered investors hryvnia government bonds – UAH 34.77 billion at 18.31% and UAH 2.95 billion at 19.19%.

As you know, in connection with the Russian invasion, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to issue military bonds in the amount of up to UAH 400 billion in a phased manner. The Ministry of Finance is conducting auctions for the sale of government bonds every Tuesday, starting March 1, 2022.
According to Prime Minister Denys Shmygal, about UAH 600 billion was received through the issuance of military bonds last year.
Recall that on August 29, the Ministry of Finance raised UAH 7.3 billion from the state budget in an auction for the placement of local government bonds.
