Retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel in Ukraine increased by almost 10% on August 31 compared to the end of July. This is confirmed by the monitoring data of A-95 Consulting Group.
According to monitoring data, the average retail price for A-95 gasoline is 52.99 hryvnia per liter (+4.38 hryvnia per month), for diesel fuel 52.62 hryvnia per liter (+4.81 hryvnia), for autogas 23 , 96 hryvnia per liter (+ 50 kopecks).

The price increase is due to the tax increase. From July 1, VAT on fuel at the rate of 20% was restored, which was in effect before the start of the war, and from March 2022 it is paid at the level of 7%. In addition, the previous excise rate began to operate.
