Ukraine in the current marketing year, which began on July 1, has already exported 4.157 million tons of grains and legumes, which is more than last year’s figure for the same period. This was confirmed by data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on Monday, August 28.
In particular, Ukraine has already exported 1.773 million tons of wheat, 460 thousand tons of barley, 0.6 thousand tons of rye and 1.916 million tons of corn.
For comparison, in the last marketing year, on August 31, 2022, Ukraine exported 3.964 million tons of grain and legumes, including: 1.139 million tons of wheat, 310 thousand tons of barley, 0.5 thousand tons of rye and 2.498 million tons of corn.
At the same time, since the beginning of this month, Ukraine has exported 1.884 million tons of grain and legumes, including: 952 thousand tons of wheat, 165 thousand tons of barley and 763 thousand tons of corn (1.331 million tons) . This year, since the beginning of August, rye has not been exported.
From the beginning of 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 20.8 thousand tons of flour.
Recall that in the 2022/2023 marketing year (from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023), Ukraine exported almost 49 million tons of grain and legumes. Our country has earned more than 20 billion dollars.
