The exchange rate of the Hryvnia in exchange offices continued to grow after a significant decrease last week. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Monday, August 28.
So, this morning the average dollar rate fell by another 15 kopecks – to UAH 38.40, the euro exchange rate fell by 15 kopecks – to UAH 41.85.
In exchange offices, they buy the dollar at an average of 37.90 Hryvnia, the euro at 41.15 Hryvnia.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU has not changed since July 21 last year – 36.5686 Hryvnia per dollar. On August 28, the official exchange rate of the euro dropped dramatically and reached UAH 39.5051 per euro (-0.1499 UAH).
Recall that in the last 10 days the dollar increased by about 1 Hryvnia at the level of 38.60 Hryvnia, but at the end of last week the rate decreased.
Earlier, financiers and the population worsened their forecasts for the dollar in the next 12 months.
