The Supervisory Board will begin the process of selecting and appointing a new permanent chairman of the board of Sense Bank as soon as possible.
The chairman of the board of the nationalized Sens Bank (formerly Alfa-Bank) Dmitry Kuzmin resigned by mutual agreement for personal reasons. The Supervisory Board accepted his resignation, the press service of the financial institution said the previous day.
It is indicated that the deputy chairman of the board, Elena Zubchenko, has been appointed temporary head “to ensure the smooth operation of the bank under close supervision and in cooperation with the supervisory board.”
In turn, the Supervisory Board will begin the process of selecting and appointing a new permanent chairman of the board of Sense Bank as soon as possible.
As you know, on August 20, the NBU decided to transfer Sens Bank to state ownership, because its owners are Russian sanctioned oligarchs – Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven and Andrey Kosogov. And on July 21, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to nationalize Sens Bank.
After that, the media reported that they tried to withdraw billions of assets from Sens Bank before its nationalization.
