Thus, in April the military budget reached 206 billion. This includes payments for immigrants, troops, etc.
In particular, approximately 14-15 billion UAH was spent on IDPs and food programs. In May, these expenditures are expected to rise to UAH 16-17 billion.
Spending on social protection is UAH 34 billion, on education and medicine – UAH 31 billion, wages in the public sector – UAH 5 billion.
“Of course, a large part of the funds goes to the army. In general, the military budget makes up three quarters of the entire budget of Ukraine, so we spend almost the same amount,” said the minister.
According to the Ministry of Finance, in March, international support for Ukraine reached $ 3 billion, in April – $ 1.7 billion, and in May – approximately $ 2 billion, with a required $ 5 billion per month. More than $ 4.8 billion is expected in June.
