From the beginning of this year, the National Bank of Ukraine sold more than 15.2 billion dollars in the interbank foreign exchange market, and bought 193.2 million dollars. This was confirmed by the regulator’s data on Saturday, August 12.
At the same time, in the current week, the regulator sold $469.4 million, and bought only $850,000. The amount of money sold increased slightly compared to last week – $460.3 million.
Recall that in July Ukrainians sold more dollars than they bought. Net sales were $76.6 million per month.
