The average dollar exchange rate on the cash market rose to UAH 37.55, while the euro rose to UAH 41.65.
The exchange rate of the Hryvnia decreased in exchange offices on the last working day of the week. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Friday, August 11.
So, the average dollar rate increased by 5 kopecks – up to UAH 37.55, the euro exchange rate immediately increased by 10 kopecks – up to UAH 41.65.
In exchange offices, they buy the dollar at an average of 37.00 UAH, the euro at 40.95 UAH.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU has not changed since July of last year – 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. On August 10, the official exchange rate of the euro increased slightly and now stands at UAH 40.1194 per euro (+0.1060 UAH).
Recall that over the past week, the NBU increased the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market – up to 460.31 million dollars.
However, in July Ukrainians sold more dollars than they bought. Net sales were $76.6 million per month.
