The list of war sponsors includes 31 international companies. Oleksandr Novikov, chairman of the National Corruption Prevention Agency, said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“Today 31 companies are included in the list of international war sponsors. Most of all Chinese, in 2nd place, apparently, are Americans, and then European companies. We hope that all international that company will finally stop funding the bloody Russian regime,” he said.
According to Novikov, NAPC is cooperating with World-Check on this issue. The program allows you to check counterparties, which are used by banks and financial companies around the world. This means that the companies included in this register are not reliable partners for all responsible businesses.
“I would like to draw attention to the positive results of the impact of inclusion in this register. There are cases when companies refuse to cooperate with Russia. For example, the Irish company Peninsula Petroleum Limited, which refuels ships in sea. They made a statement condemning the war, refused to provide services to the criminal regime of Russia, and we did not include it in the register,” said the head of the agency.
Recall that earlier the NAPC restored the status of five Greek carriers to the list of international sponsors of war, because these companies did not fulfill the conditions agreed upon during the negotiations to exclude them from the list.
