Grant funds of about UAH 270 billion have become an important source of state budget revenues.

At the same time, the implementation of the income list of the State Tax Service reached 103.1% (+10.4 billion UAH), the State Customs Service – 100.9% (+1.6 billion UAH).
An important source of state budget revenues in January-June of this year was the funds received by Ukraine in the form of international aid (grants) – 269.6 billion hryvnias.
The United States has been the largest donor of grant support (UAH 263 billion). Also, on a non-refundable basis, Ukraine received funding from Germany, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, Iceland, totaling up to UAH 6.4 billion. The funds are directed to the state budget of Ukraine through the World Bank Trust Fund under the PEACE project.
UAH 285.7 billion was attracted from the placement of government bonds to finance the state budget, including UAH 97.4 billion in foreign currency (USD 1,963.8 million and EUR 640.9 million). At the same time, UAH 130.0 billion was raised through the issuance of military government bonds.
In general, government borrowings in the general fund of the state budget for January-June amounted to UAH 879.1 billion, or 82.9% of those planned for this period.
At the same time, monetary expenditures of the state budget amounted to UAH 1,784.3 billion, including the general fund – UAH 1,407.6 billion, or 93.5% of the reporting period.
For the first half of 2023, the state budget was implemented with a deficit of UAH 476.3 billion, with the general fund in the amount of UAH 532.7 billion, against the deficit of UAH 931.8 billion planned by the general fund for January-June 2023 hryvnia , – mentioned in the department.
At the same time, payments for repayment of public debt for January-June 2023 amounted to UAH 246.1 billion (96.6% of the plan), service payments – UAH 116.8 billion (89.2% of the plan).
Earlier it became known that since the beginning of the war, Ukraine has received 170 billion euros in aid. This amount includes military, financial and humanitarian aid from 40 states, as well as European institutions, the IMF and the World Bank.
