Along with the restoration work, 27 power units of DTEK TPPs are planned to be repaired as part of the current repair campaign. Seven of them have been fixed, seven more are in process.
From the beginning of 2023, DTEK has invested UAH 1.5 billion to prepare thermal power plants for the next heating season. Ildar Saleev, General Director of DTEK Energy, announced this on his Facebook page on Monday, July 3.

“The restoration of the equipment requires at least seven billion hryvnias. In the conditions of war, the volumes are enormous. To cover the huge amount, we will attract both our own resources and rely on a loan program for on restoring the energy of the Ukrainian sector,” said Saleev.
He noted that during March-June, DTEK’s electrical engineers completed seven repairs of TPP’s power units.
“The same amount is in process. According to preliminary data, DTEK Energy’s investments in the repair campaign for the first half of this year amounted to UAH 1.5 billion. scheduled repair and restoration work , “the head of the company emphasized.
Recall that since the beginning of the war, electrical engineers have 23 times “raised from scratch” TPPs after shelling and continue their work. DTEK plans to restore 25% of the capacity lost due to the massive Russian missile attack during the heating season.
