Commercial deliveries to Orlen are currently underway, requiring large logistics costs.
The fuel crisis is over in Ukraine, so Poland no longer provides it for free. This was stated by Polish Minister of Energy Anna Moskva in an interview with BiznesAlert, published on Monday, May 30.
“At the beginning of the war and after the bombing at the refinery, we shipped this fuel free of charge. Currently, these are Orlen’s commercial supplies, which require large logistics costs. Usually these deliveries are carried out. through pipelines, so we need to put new supply channels. We sell them on an ongoing basis, while maintaining the priority of deliveries to the Polish market, “said Anna Moskva.
He noted that “oil companies in Ukraine feel good.” And Poland helped in response to the crisis.
According to the minister, Polish companies have no plans to enter the Ukrainian market, because “this sector is well organized” and “there is no market potential there.”
Earlier it was learned that fuel supplies from the state reserve of Poland to Ukraine will begin – 25,000 tons. This fuel should cover a quarter of consumption in May.
It was also reported that Ukraine intends to triple the supply of fuel from Poland. This quantity can reach 200 thousand tons per month.
And before that, it became known that Ukraine and Poland have simplified passage for fuel carriers.
