Toyota is recalling more than 590,000 vehicles

The reason for the decision was problems with the shock absorbers. The recall applies to Yaris, Aqua and Sienta models.

Japanese company Toyota is recalling about 594,000 vehicles due to problems with shock absorbers. It was announced on June 23 by NHK TV channel.

The automaker has submitted a corresponding application to the country’s Ministry of Transport.

The recall affects three models: Yaris, Aqua and Sienta, released between December 2019 and May 2023.

The Japanese Ministry of Transport said that the shock absorbers are partially defective: when the car continues to drive on rough roads, part of this part may break.

The ministry noted that no accidents have been recorded, but 31 failures are known, and in four cases, driving was difficult.

Toyota said it will offer free inspections at dealerships and replacement parts if needed.

Earlier it was reported that Ford is recalling more than 125,000 vehicles because the fluid can leak from their engines.

Hyundai and Kia are recalling 570,000 vehicles sold in the US
