For the whole of last year, cargo handling indicators were lower than for less than half a year in 2023, according to the Sea Ports Administration.
Today, June 22, the amount of cargo transshipment of Izmail port has reached 9 million tons. This was reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration.
According to the Sea Ports Administration, this is a high number, because throughout last year, cargo handling indicators were lower than in less than half a year in 2023.
“This exceeds the figure for cargo turnover in 2022 (8.89 million tons),” the report said.
Recall that in early June, the Danube ports set an absolute record for cargo handling.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine expanded the possibility of the passage of ships in the Danube.
