The vehicle, called the $7,500 Zero, is designed for two adults and a dog.

British EV start-up Ark has unveiled “the UK’s most affordable EV”. The vehicle, called the Zero, costs $7,500, according to Autocar.

The 489 kg double electric car has a top speed of 45 km/h and a range of 50.3 miles. The Zero uses a 3 hp motor powered by a lithium-ion battery.

The electric car is designed for two adults and a dog.

The body of the car is completely made of aluminum. It absorbs and dissipates energy better in a crash than a conventional steel body, and also provides better handling and usability in cities.

It comes standard with a sunroof, reversing camera, LED headlights, infotainment center display and Bluetooth connectivity.
