The operation of power grids in the Dnepropetrovsk region has been fully resumed. And in the Donetsk region, another 146 settlements remain without electricity.
In the past week, DTEK energy companies networks returned light to nearly 87 thousand families in 96 communities of the two regions. People were left without electricity due to the enemy attack, the company said on Tuesday, June 6.
It was noted that last week the power grids of Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions received significant damage due to the Russian attack. Energy supply continued for 81 thousand families in the Donetsk region and 5.6 thousand families in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“The main task of our specialists is to provide light to Ukrainians as much as possible in conditions of increased risks. Since the beginning of a large-scale war, we have restored light to 7.9 million families in the regions of Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Donbass and the city of Kiev. In some settlements near the war zone, we returned the bright dozens of times,” said DTEK CEO networks Alexander Fomenko.
Today, power engineers have fully resumed the operation of power grids damaged by shelling in the Dnepropetrovsk region. While in the Donetsk region, another 146 communities remain without electricity.
It will be remembered that in May, DTEK power engineers restored electricity to almost 400,000 families in three regions of Ukraine.
Also last month, DTEK launched a new wind farm, which began operating in the Mykolaiv region.
