The average dollar exchange rate now stands at UAH 37.40 at the sale, while the euro costs UAH 40.45.
The Ukrainian hryvnia continues to grow in the cash market against the dollar and euro. On Monday, June 5, RBC-Ukraine reports related to market monitoring data.
Thus, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine decreased by 10 kopecks – up to 37.40 in sales. The euro also fell by 10 kopecks – to 40.45 hryvnia per euro.
At the same time, in the exchange office they buy the dollar at an average of 36.90 Hryvnia, the euro – 39.75 Hryvnia.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU has not changed since July 21 last year and is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. At the same time, the official exchange rate of the euro on June 5 increased significantly and now stands at 39.346 hryvnia per euro (+0.1938 hryvnia).
Earlier it became known that last week the NBU slightly increased the sale of foreign currencies – almost to 470 million dollars.
At the same time, in May, Ukrainians reduced their purchases of foreign currency to the lowest level since August 2022.
