“There is an increase, but these are few shipments compared to the potential of this export channel,” the message said.
In the 43rd week of operation of the grain corridor, corn (91% of exports during this period) and barley (9%) were exported. Agricultural products went to China, Spain and Egypt.
In total, four ships left the ports, like a week ago, and 15 ships passed inspection at the entrance.
“With such indicators, it will be very difficult to export surplus products located on the territory of Ukraine before the new crop begins to arrive. The Russian side continues to slow down the work of this export channel,” UCAB said.
In total, from the beginning of the grain corridor from August 1, 2022 to May 28, 2023, 30.5 million tons of agricultural products were exported.
Recall that in the current marketing year (MY) – from July 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023 – Ukraine exported 45.29 million tons of grain and legumes.
