The dollar exchange rate in exchange offices for sale fell to 37.65 Hryvnia, and the euro fell to 41.25 Hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate is strengthening in the currency market of Ukraine. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Wednesday, May 17.
Today, the exchange rate of the selling dollar fell by another 5 kopecks – to 37.65 hryvnia per dollar. The euro exchange rate also fell by 5 kopecks – to 41.25 hryvnia per euro.

The official fixed rate of the NBU is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, on May 17, the euro exchange rate increased slightly and is now at 39.8104 hryvnia per euro (+0.0402 hryvnia).
It will be remembered that the situation in the foreign exchange market worsened last week. The NBU doubled the sale of dollars from reserves to $535 million.
