State-owned PrivatBank remains the most profitable, earning UAH 16 billion since the beginning of the year.
Solvent banks of Ukraine in January-March this year received 34.056 billion Hryvnia profit after tax. This is confirmed by the data of the National Bank.
The rating in terms of profitability is led by the state-owned PrivatBank, which earned UAH 16.043 billion. In second place is another state-owned bank – Oschadbank (UAH 2.089 billion).
It is followed by banks of foreign banking groups Raiffeisen Bank – UAH 2.061 billion and Ukrsibbank – UAH 1.747 billion and private FUIB – UAH 1.545 billion.
According to the NBU, 60 out of 65 banks made a profit of UAH 34.096 billion, while five banks showed a loss of UAH 39.8 million.
Recall that earlier the National Bank reported that Ukrainian banks in January-March 2023 already earned more than in the same period in 2022.
