In the Czech Republic, after analyzing grain and meat samples from Ukraine, no problems were identified.
Checks by Czech Republic regulatory authorities of grain, meat and eggs from Ukraine did not find a single non-compliant sample. This was said by the Minister of Agriculture Zdeněk Nekula, according to Ceske Noviny.

According to him, the Czech Republic has no reason to ban the import of agricultural products from Ukraine, as Poland, Slovakia and other countries have done.
The Minister explained that every sample of imported food products is tested for the presence of more than 400 residues of active ingredients. These are primarily tests for the presence of mycotoxins or pesticide residues, and all samples are tested for the presence of heavy metals such as lead or cadmium.
The Czech Ministry of Agriculture said intensive inspections will continue in the future. They will also focus on dairy products.
The Czech Republic is completely self-sufficient in grain and exports a large part of its products. By 2022, the country will produce 160 percent of its domestic needs in grains, and double that in wheat.
It will be recalled that last week Slovakia banned the processing of grain imported from Ukraine after a batch of wheat was confirmed to contain a pesticide that is not allowed in the EU and has a negative impact on human health.
Romania announced the introduction of border checks for agricultural products imported from Ukraine.
