The Ukrainian hryvnia lost 5 kopecks against the US dollar and 10 kopecks against the euro.
The US dollar rose in Ukrainian exchange offices, winning back the decline that occurred the previous day. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Wednesday, April 19.
So, today the selling dollar exchange rate has increased by 5 kopecks to 38.15 Hryvnia per dollar. The euro exchange rate strengthened by 10 kopecks to 41.60 hryvnia per euro.
In the cash market, the average dollar exchange rate is:

purchase – 37.55 UAH (37.50 – April 18)

sale – UAH 38.15 (April 38.10 – April 18) per dollar.
The average euro exchange rate is:

purchase – UAH 40.80 (UAH 40.70 – April 18),

sale – UAH 41.60 (41.50 – April 18) per euro.
The official fixed rate of the NBU is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, the euro exchange rate has decreased slightly today – to 40.1066 Hryvnia per euro (-0.0366 Hryvnia).
Remember, following the results of March, Ukrainians reduced the purchase of foreign currency in banks. Demand for non-cash money is also fragmented.
It was also reported that following the March results, the NBU sold the minimum amount of foreign currency in four months.
