In the first week, the Polish side will be able to provide physical support for agricultural products.
Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products will again go to Poland from April 22. Control will be adjusted at the border. This was said by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Nikolay Solsky, RBC-Ukraine reports on Wednesday, April 19.
According to him, Poland’s electronic system will monitor goods in transit in the country.
“They will be able to show that this is exactly what will happen if there is a request from society (ie, transit, not import – ed.). The tracker shows that the car or rail is going to ports or other countries in the EU,” – said the minister.
At the same time, in the first week, the Polish side, if desired, will be able to physically escort the products by customs officials, “to convince, to form conclusions for themselves.”
Solsky said that any company that “wants to sell something in Germany can do so, both now and now.”
The minister clarified that the share of Poland in the total export of agricultural products from Ukraine is 10% – half in transit, and half in import.
Recall that on April 18, Poland and Ukraine agreed to resume transit of agricultural products. At the same time, imports from Ukraine will continue to be banned.
On the eve of the media reported that the Ukrainian authorities took the initiative to hold a trilateral meeting with the participation of the European Commission and five EU countries to solve problems with the import of agricultural products.
