“Not yet. This is a very difficult issue. Of course, the business is interested in exporting. But looking back, we can say for sure: if it was not banned, then, because of the price situation in the European markets , all the gas of the private owners is in Europe,” said the minister. .
Galushchenko believes that the decision to ban the export of gas and energy coal, taken under martial law in 2022, helped ensure the security of energy supplies in the domestic market.
The minister emphasized that Ukraine will pass this warming period without importing coal. Now the volume of its reserves is about 1.5 million tons. As for gas, its reserves made it possible to operate with this fuel the coal blocks of thermal power plants, the main fuel design of which is coal-anthracite, in conditions of a lack of power due to the shelling of the Russian energy system.
On the eve it became known that Ukraine has started pumping gas into the UGSFs. At the same time, during the withdrawal period, that is, from October 7, 2022, 5.6 billion cubic meters of gas were removed from the storage facilities.
