The government is coordinating recovery needs and working with the EBRD, the EU and the Reform Office.
The government is developing a new economic model for Ukraine as a resource center in Europe. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Telegram on Monday, April 17.
“The coordinated reconstruction needs and cooperation with the EBRD, the EU and the Reform Office under the Cabinet of Ministers. The large-scale war has created new challenges and new work priorities, forcing us to rethink the role of Ukrainian Reform Architecture project,” he wrote.
According to Shmygal, it is planned to focus on ten main areas and reforms:

development of a new economic model of Ukraine as a resource center in Europe;

civil security sector reform;
-
updated veterans policy;
-
energy reform aimed at energy independence and modernization;
-
recovery;
-
large-scale social reform;
-
business support projects;
-
new directions in education reform; customs reform;
-
public administration reform.
“I thank the partners for their willingness to support the government’s priorities, the Reform Office team and the URA project for their daily work,” concluded Shmygal.
Earlier, the Cabinet approved the action plan for the year. It contains 14 main areas, the main ones being security and defence.
It was also reported that the government approved an anti-corruption program.
