The average dollar exchange rate in sales increased to 38.15 hryvnia per dollar. And the euro rose to 41.65 hryvnia per euro
The hryvnia continues to decline in exchange offices against the dollar and the euro. This trend occurs for five days in a row, reports RBC-Ukraine in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, April 17.
On the first working day of the week, the selling dollar exchange rate rose by another 5 kopecks to 38.15 hryvnia per dollar. The euro rose immediately by 15 kopecks to 41.65 hryvnia per euro.
In the cash market, the average dollar exchange rate is:

purchase – 37.55 UAH (37.50 – April 14)

sale – UAH 38.15 (April 38.10 – April 14) per dollar.
The average euro exchange rate is:

purchase – UAH 40.85 (UAH 40.70 – April 14),

sale – 41.65 UAH (41.50 – April 14) per euro.
The official fixed rate of the NBU is UAH 36.5686 per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, the euro exchange rate for today is set at 40.4174 hryvnia per euro (+0.1535 hryvnia).
Remember, following the results of March, Ukrainians reduced the purchase of foreign currency in banks. Demand for non-cash money is also fragmented.
It was also reported that following the March results, the NBU sold the lowest currency in four months.
