MTPE on Luravi Peru: 140,000 citizens will benefit from the program within a year

Minister of Labor (MTPE) Alfonso Adriansen noted that temporary work is a palliative remedy in the face of the labor crisis that the country is going through. Therefore, he claimed that the ministry created the Lurawi Peru program for temporary jobs, which works with national governments.

“This is a special moment when it is possible to distribute the public budget wisely, when there are Peruvians who have lost a lot and who urgently need to restore their family economy,” said the Minister of Labor in Things as they are.

In addition, he said that about 140,000 Peruvians will benefit from the Lurawi Peru program during the year and that 50,000 new jobs will be created – 190,000 in total – if the budget is approved and expanded in all regions. in that Congress of the Republic.

“This program is effective throughout Peru. It prioritizes vulnerable populations, but because of this particular situation we are facing, it is targeting areas that have been particularly impacted by the climate situation,” Adriansen added.

He clarified that this is unskilled labor and that it aims to glorify the worker’s work in order to get them to participate and rebuild the economy. The minister added that they visited areas such as Tacna, Moquegua, Ica, Sierra de Lima, areas affected by rains, where the coordination stage has been passed.

“We carry out transfers, but we control, control, so that there are no losses, withdrawals and that the money reaches those who need it (…) Actions last three to four months, they are renewable, what we do, the expansion of the maximum national territory” referred to in Things as they are.

About outsourcing

The Minister of Labor pointed out that labor outsourcing is one of the conflicts “that have arisen within”, but assured that they are awaiting consideration in the judiciary. “In recent days, 48 ​​hours ago, the first ruling was made public, but the Attorney General of the Republic, through an autonomous unit in the Ministry of Justice, is going to continue with the appeal, because the idea is to exhaust the judicial channels and have a resolution,” Adriansen said.

On the other hand, he said that they could convene unions to discuss and resolve the issue, but there was no desire to participate. “The issue is debatable, because this is just one of the essential points, which eventually violated the harmony of work and employment,” he said in Things as they are.

Similarly, Adriansen noted that he will seek to contribute to the competition in the labor market and prioritize the training of those who need to strengthen their skills in the relevant field.

“One of my goals has always been to convey hope, many of us Peruvians have lost sight of all this drama of government officials in scandals, people who do not keep their promises, we must return hope that those of us who take power can indirectly carry out accusations in good faith and restore confidence. Peru needs to be mobilized in these values, which means that the citizen must be closer to his power, and the power is much closer to the citizens,” concluded the Minister of Labor.
