About 300,000 electric vehicles worth 24.2 billion euros have been delivered abroad.
Germany last year exported around 500,000 electric vehicles worth 24.2 billion euros. This is confirmed by the data of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) of the country.
It is noted that this is more than 65% higher than the figure for the previous year, when about 300,000 electric vehicles worth 12.6 billion euros were delivered abroad.
The biggest buyer of German electric vehicles is the UK with a share of 14%, as well as the US (13.1%).
At the same time, 358,000 electric vehicles worth 10.5 billion euros were imported into Germany in 2022, which is 22.2% higher than last year (293,000 cars worth 7.6 billion euros).
Earlier it was reported that the market for electric cars in Ukraine has doubled. Thus, registrations in Ukraine of new and used electric cars in January-February doubled compared to the same period in 2022 – up to 2923 units, including 23.5% of new ones.
