The amount of aid received from Western partners since the beginning of the year has reached $13.6 billion, said Ekaterina Rozhkova.
The receipt of $2.7 billion of the first tranche of the International Monetary Fund’s EFF extended financing loan increased Ukraine’s international reserves to more than $32. The first deputy head of the NBU, Ekaterina Rozhkova, announced this on Facebook the other day.
“Including these funds, the amount of aid received from our partners since the beginning of the year amounted to $13.6 billion, and the international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine exceeded $32 billion,” he wrote.
Rozhkova emphasized that the program with the IMF is a signal for Ukraine’s partners that the country is on the right track, and at the same time confirmation from partners about $ 115 billion in aid to our state for next four years
Recall that in February, Ukraine’s reserves decreased for the first time in four months – to $28.865 billion, but remained above the level of the beginning of the year at $28.494 billion.
And in January, reserves grew by 5% and reached almost $30 billion.
