The Russian Federation uses up to 20 bombs per day across the demarcation line from Su-35, Su-34 aircraft, which are not included in the Ukrainian air defense strike zone.
Russia uses glide bombs, dropping dozens of them a day across the demarcation area from Su-35 and Su-34 aircraft. This is what the speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Yuriy Ignat, said in the telethon.
“There is no lull. The enemy’s aviation, unfortunately, is working and yesterday it was said more than once in the news that they started using glide bombs that can fly tens of kilometers, up to 70 km approximate distance. The enemy uses from 10-15 to 20 bombs per day for the entire demarcation line from Su-35, Su-34 aircraft, which are not included in the zone of destruction of our air defense, and this is a new threat for us to be able to respond immediately,” he said.
According to Ignat, Ukraine has yet to respond to this.
“To transport these aircraft as far from our borders as possible, we need long-range systems and air defense systems like the Patriot, and, of course, we want fighters that can use the air -to-air missiles for long distances,” said the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recall that the Russian Federation used planning bombs weighing 1.5 tons in Ukraine.
As reported, Russian troops have a large stock of aerial bombs. It is cheaper and faster to recycle them to Russian controlled ones than to make missiles.
