New control tower and second runway at Jorge Chavez International Airport have already been cleared Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) to start his work.
Through the General Aviation Administration, MTC has announced that this new airport infrastructure is now ready to go live.
“The new tower and second runway are part of a major expansion Jorge Chavez Airportwhich requires investments in the amount of more than $2 billion, and also includes the construction of a new and unique passenger terminal,” MTS recalled.
Although the permit was issued on April 1, MTS did not specify when they would begin to fully use this infrastructure, but indicated that the launch would take place gradually.
