The exchange rate of the US dollar in exchange offices has dropped to the psychological threshold – 38.00 hryvnia per dollar.
The cash exchange rate of the Hryvnia continued its growth. The American dollar in Ukrainian exchange offices fell by 20 kopecks – to 38.00 hryvnia per dollar, and the euro by 20 kopecks – to 40.85 hryvnia per euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Monday morning, April 3.
In the cash market, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine is:

purchase – 37.40 UAH (37.60 – March 31)

sale – UAH 38.00 (March 38.20 – March 31) per dollar.
The average euro exchange rate is:

purchase – 40.15 UAH (40.35 – March 31),

sale – 40.85 UAH (41.05 – March 31) per euro.
The official fixed exchange rate of the National Bank is UAH 36.5686 per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, the euro exchange rate on April 3 was 39.7373 hryvnia per euro (-0.0439 hryvnia).
It will be remembered that on March 31, the dollar exchange rate increased slightly at the exchange offices. And before that, the hryvnia strengthened for eight days in a row on the cash market.
It was also noted that following the March results, the NBU sold the minimum amount of foreign currency in four months.
