In the exchange offices of Ukraine on Thursday, March 23, the exchange rate of the selling dollar fell by 15 kopecks to 38.6 hryvnia per dollar. The euro exchange rate increased by 10 kopecks to 41.4 hryvnia per euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data.

The official fixed rate set by the National Bank of Ukraine is 36.57 hryvnia per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, the euro exchange rate on March 23 was 39.43 hryvnia per euro (+0.004 hryvnia).
Recall that at the end of 2022, the aggregate balance of payments of Ukraine was formed with a deficit of $2.9 billion, while in 2021 the surplus reached $487 million.
