On March 16, the average selling rate of one cash dollar, compared to the day before, increased by another five kopecks and reached 38.85 hryvnias.
In Ukrainian exchange offices on Thursday, March 16, the dollar exchange rate on sale increased by five kopecks to 38.85 Hryvnia per dollar. The euro exchange rate decreased by 10 kopecks to 41 hryvnia per euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data.
In the cash market, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine is:

• purchase – 38.2 UAH (38.15 – March 15)

• sale – UAH 38.85 (March 38.8 – March 15) per dollar.
The average euro exchange rate is:

• purchase – 40.3 UAH (40.4 – March 15),

• sale – 41 UAH (41.1 – March 15) per euro.
The official fixed rate set by the National Bank of Ukraine is 36.57 hryvnia per dollar (effective from July 21, 2022). At the same time, the euro exchange rate on March 16 was 38.62 hryvnia per euro (-0.65 hryvnia).
It was previously reported that the National Bank has drastically reduced the sale of foreign currency.
