Among high-ranking officials, declarations were submitted by 29 deputies, two ministers and two deputy heads of the OP.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has launched a declaration counter, reflecting statistics on the number of income declarations filed by officials in 2021, the press service of the NACP reports.

As of March 13 this year, about 337,000 officials filed declarations. However, among them, only a few are senior civil servants.

“There is a very clear trend. Ordinary officials regularly submit declarations, although they may postpone filing, but among top officials and people’s representatives the number of those reporting is small,” said Alexander Novikov, head of the NAPC, expressing hope that these statistics will improve when the public can get behind this process.

Of the high-ranking officials, 29 people’s representatives, two ministers (of education and defense), two deputy heads of the Office of the President filed declarations.

The counter can be found on the NAPC website. The data is updated every Monday so you can see the dynamics of the declaration.

Currently, in Ukraine, the declaration of civil servants is voluntary. Since the fall of last year, the Verkhovna Rada has been waiting for a vote on a bill on the continuation of the mandatory declaration.

Earlier it was reported that NABU is looking for the deputy head of the Sumy Regional Council on suspicion of not declaring the amount of UAH 1.6 million.
