Gas transit to Ukraine fell another quarter

There were no nominations for the transfer of gas from Russia through the Sokhranovka gas distribution station, and through the Sudzha station they reached nearly 53.2 million cubic meters.

According to the results of Thursday, the volume of Russian gas transit on the territory of Ukraine will decrease another quarter compared to the previous day’s values. TASS reported this on May 12th.

Thus, there were no nominations for the transfer of gas from Russia on May 12 through the Sokhranovka gas distribution station, and through the Sudzha station they reached nearly 53.2 million cubic meters.

“Compared to the volume of 72 million cubic meters, provided by Gazprom to Europe on travel through Ukraine the previous day, the decrease in gas transportation could be almost 26%,” the report said.

At the same time, on May 11, the volume of gas transit also dropped by a quarter against the background of the suspension of transportation through the station Sokhranivka.

At maximum, applications from Europe reached 109.6 million cubic meters in early March.

Meanwhile, the capacities of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline, which runs in Germany via Russia, Belarus and Poland, remain unclaimed for pumping in the forward direction.

The other day, GTS Operator of Ukraine confirmed the facts of the theft of transit gas. This happened in the territories of the Luhansk region, which were temporarily captured by the Russian occupiers.
