The next auction with a price reduction, from UAH 187 million to UAH 93.7 million, will be held on March 13.
The auction for the privatization of the property complex of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky port in the Odessa region did not take place on Friday, March 3, due to a lack of applications. This was announced by the head of the regional department of the State Property Fund for the Odessa and Nikolaev regions Alexander Slavsky on Facebook.
According to him, the first auction for the privatization of a single property complex of the State Enterprise Belgorod-Dnestrovsky commercial port did not take place due to lack of applications from participants.
The next auction with a price reduction is scheduled for March 13, it will cost UAH 93.7 million (instead of the initial one – UAH 187 million).
“To be honest, we ourselves were surprised, because there is not much interest both among Ukrainian and foreign companies, because there are those who are interested in this port, in our experience. Sometimes it happens: the market considers the price too high. Is it really ? : in the second auction, the price increased more than the first,” said Slavsky.
In his opinion, the reasons are market. In particular, this port on the Danube currently operates as a “dry port”.
The total cost is also important – 20% VAT and debts of about UAH 100 million are added to the price, which must be paid by the buyer.
Earlier it was reported that the State Property Fund is preparing for the privatization of three large enterprises in Zaporozhye: Zaporozhye titanium and magnesium plant, Kremniypolimer and Zaporozhye aluminum production plant.
The State Property Fund will become one of the largest landowners in Ukraine
