Flight recorders from a helicopter that crashed in Brovary with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on board were deciphered in France, the data has already been handed over to the investigation.
This was announced on March 3 at a press conference by Prime Minister Shmihal. He said that all the materials from the “black box” were saved, there were “very high-quality” results of assessing the technical condition of the helicopter.
Recall that after the plane crash in Brovary, where the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky and his deputy Yevgeny Enin died, it was reported that the so-called “black box” had been found.
According to the prime minister, the results of the examination should be in the near future.
Indeed, a lot of work has already been done there, that is, there are such clear results of the technical condition of the helicopter, there are all the materials from the black box, they are preserved, of high quality. That is, the investigation continues to work out the details and I think that we will get the result in the near future,” Shmihal said.
Recall that in Brovary, Kyiv region, on January 18, a helicopter crashed near a kindergarten. It was a French-made State Emergency Service helicopter.
As a result of the plane crash, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs died: Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky, First Deputy Minister Yevgeny Yenin and State Secretary Yuri Lubkovich. The helicopter crash caused a fire in the kindergarten. In total, 14 people became victims of the tragedy, including 1 child, 25 people were injured, including 11 children.
The Cabinet of Ministers has created a working group to investigate the crash. The SBU reported that they are considering several versions of the tragedy. In January, the current head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Igor Klimenko, said that the results of the helicopter accident would be known in a month and a half.
