“Our specialists have been working in high-risk conditions for a year and restoring networks destroyed due to enemy attacks. Since a full-scale attack began on February 24 last year , electrical engineers have restored more than 4,000 electrical facilities that were subjected to enemy attacks. Our first priority is to provide light to customers as soon as possible. Workers will begin work on energy as soon as they receive permission and access to the place of damage from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and State Emergency Service,” the press service of Alexander Fomenko, CEO of DTEK Grids, quotes.
Recall that in addition to the ongoing damage to energy facilities and power grids along the line of contact since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, the country’s energy system has been severely affected by terrorist attacks that Russian missiles at civilian targets. Because of this, plans and emergency schedules for power outages have been introduced in the country. Currently, the power system is stable: there has been no power shortage here for more than two weeks.
