Minister for Development and Social Inclusion (Midi), Julio Demartini, assured that the issuance of vouchers for social programs has been streamlined in all regions where distribution was suspended due to lack of liquidity, a problem that mainly affected Fist.
“Its collection is guaranteed, the money has already been transferred. The problem went through the issue of liquidity in cities like Puno, as we already knew (the consequences of the conflict) this was agreed with the Banco de la Nación agencies and the transport companies of values,” he said.
Sunday pagaton in 20 regions
For the mass delivery of these bonds, which was delayed, the so-called “Sunday payment” was made on February 12 and 19. More than 53,114 users attracted attention that day Juntos, Pension 65 and Contigo programs.
“We used Pagatón to interact with other sectors, such as the health sector, and a fair was organized to sell products for the elderly,” he said.
The minister also recalled that in early January, an extraordinary bonus was issued to all users, and regular collection of pensions will resume in February.
“Recall that extraordinary bonds were allowed. For example, for Pension 65 it was an additional 250 to which we were going to transfer regularly, with Contigo an additional S/300 was delivered, and Juntos had an additional S/200. This was available to all users at the end of January and billing for regular users at the end of February,” he added.
