According to the results of 2022, the enterprises of the SCM investment group sent UAH 73.2 billion of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels. The group’s press service reported this on Monday, January 20.
“Capital investments last year amounted to UAH 21.1 billion. Most of these funds are the overhaul of electricity grids, the re-equipment of power units of thermal power plants, the drilling of oil wells and gas, the opening of new longwalls, etc. . to support the Ukrainian energy sector,” the report said.
The SCM clarified that of the total amount of taxes, more than 62 billion hryvnias were paid to the state budget, cuts in local budgets amounted to 11.2 billion hryvnias.
“11.8 billion hryvnias were spent on social programs. The biggest expenses are programs for residents of the regions of presence and environmental protection,” added company businessman Rinat Akhmetov.
The SCM also recalled that Akhmetov had previously allocated UAH 1 billion for a project to help the defenders of Mariupol and their families.
