“In 2023, since we do not expect a quick return of migrants home, we estimate that Ukrainians will continue to spend $2 billion a month there, that is, in 2023 there will be $24 billion,” said Nikolaychuk.
The NBU expects that Ukrainian citizens will continue to travel abroad this year. “We expect that 400,000 more citizens will leave than they will return,” said the deputy chairman of the National Bank.
