It is known that the public discussion of the document will last until February 15.

The draft resolution states that the state body is closed on behalf of the country’s Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov.

“The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has decided: to liquidate a state institution Trade Representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Ministry of Trade and Integration,” the document said.

It should be reminded that the Trade Representation of Kazakhstan in Russia is a government agency that represents the interests of the republic in the field of foreign economic activity.

The main priorities of its work are free assistance to exporters and distributors of the republic in entering the Russian market, as well as attracting foreign investment to Kazakhstan.

An agreement between the governments of Russia and Kazakhstan on the mutual establishment of trade missions was signed in 1992. Kazakhstan ratified it in 2012
