Council of Ministers President Alberto Otarola announced on Tuesday that the executive branch had demanded legislative powers within 90 days on economic issues, taxation, attention to highly conflicted groups of the population and other topics.
“I would like to inform you that our request for legislative powers for ninety days on certain issues of the economy, taxation, financeattention to the population with a high level of social conflicts, the modernization of the state, fitness and meritocracy,” Otarola said during his speech in Congress to request a vote of confidence.
