The Production Commission approved the opinion on the Law on Young Entrepreneurs

Commission for Production, Micro and Small Businesses and Cooperatives Congress unanimously approved the conclusion of the Law on Young Entrepreneurs.

Law Young businessmanbased on bill 1404/2021 and establishes legal framework which promotes the creation of companies made up of young people and creates “jobs that successfully contribute to the development of the national economy within the framework of economy market society”.

The initiative concerns companies made up of young people between the ages of 18 and 29 who are duly registered with the National Public Registry Office.

Benefits include the expected refund of general sales tax for exports of goods and services; and exemption from income tax for two years”as long as the profits are reinvested in the company to develop economic activity.”

Also members Production Commission approved by a majority an opinion proposing a Law to Encourage and Reactivate Micro and Small Food Companies in the Implementation of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) System in Peru.

The proposal is based on Bill 1848/2021 and aims to promote the economic revitalization and formalization of MYPES that produce food and beverages for human consumption while implementing HACCAP.

Finally, by decision of the head of the Esdras Commission, Medina Minayi, the regulation set out in bill 1616/2021, which proposes the Industrial Fishing Workers Act with alternative text, was sent to the intermediate room and transferred to the Fishing Group for its respective study.

The Legislative Initiative regulates the employment relationship and the employment contract of an industrial fisherman within the Peruvian coast and two hundred nautical miles when the contract is concluded on national territory or within its maritime jurisdiction.
