The Financial Crime Investigation Service applied sanctions to 16 legal entities and individuals.
Almost EUR87 million of Russian and Belarusian companies’ funds have been frozen due to sanctions in Lithuania so far, the Lithuanian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported, citing data from the Financial Crimes Investigation Service (SFIS). Interfax-Ukraine writes about it.
Including fixed EUR77.88 million from Russian companies and EUR8.9 million from Belarusian companies.
On December 20, the SFSR applied sanctions to 16 legal entities and individuals: the funds of nine businesses from Russia and six companies and one individual from Belarus were frozen.
Among the sub-sanctioned companies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs indicates Inter RAO Lietuva, Lifosa, Eurochem Logistics International, PhosAgro Baltic, Vydmantai Wind Park, IDS Borjomi Europe and many others.
It was previously reported that Lithuania will increase military support for Ukraine in 2023. In particular, Vilnius plans to train more of the Ukrainian military.
